Lois F. Law, age 93 of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on Monday, October 11, 1931, in Franklin, Kentucky, Lois's life was a tapestry of joy, service, and unwavering commitment to her family.

She was the daughter to her late parents, William L. and Beulah Stradtner Freas. Her journey through life was shared with her beloved husband, JL Law, who preceded her in death, along with her great-granddaughter Maddie Cardwell and her 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

 

Her legacy continues through her loving family. Lois was the proud mother of two daughters, Connie Benfield (Doug) of Morgantown, KY, and Lori Million (Bayne) of Bowling Green, KY; grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, who will carry her spirit forward. Lois also leaves behind her sister, Estelle Hanley of Franklin, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

 

Lois's professional life was marked by 23 dedicated years as a receptionist at Kellwood, with her bright smile and feisty personality. She was a member of Morgantown Community Church, where she found strength and fellowship.

 

Her interests and hobbies were a reflection of her vibrant character. Lois had a passion for playing cards, working in her garden, and crocheting, creating pieces that would become cherished keepsakes.

 

Always ready for an adventure, Lois's love for shopping was matched only by her enthusiasm for singing and listening to music. But above all, Lois's favorite moments were those spent surrounded by her family, where her big smile and infectious laughter were most at home.
