Lloyd Brooks, 69 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Lloyd was born February 11, 1949, in Butler County Kentucky to Bennett and the late Blanche Baker Brooks. He attended Richland Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired carpenter. Other than his mother he is preceded in death by two daughters Abby and Sami Brooks; one son Tyler Brooks and one sister Wilma Brooks.

Lloyd Brooks is survived by his wife Donna Brooks of Morgantown, KY; two daughters Angie Williams (Chris) of Texas and Amanda Blakeman of Elizabethtown, KY; three grandchildren Jazz, Shane and Christopher; father Bennett Brooks of Welches Creek, KY, two brothers Boyd Brooks of Short Creek, KY and Lannie Brooks of Welches Creek, KY; two sisters Hattie Cornelis and Lattie Brooks of both of Morgantown, KY. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the Frank Embry Cemetery in Caneyville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 9:30 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jones Funeral Chapel P.O. Box 414 Morgantown, Ky. 42261.
