Lindel Calvin Embry, 70, of Roundhill passed away at 3:24 AM January 11, 2014 at his home.
The Oakland, Illinois native was a retired truck driver and a member of Community House of Prayer. He was a son of the late Lindel Clyde Embry and Margie Irene Johnson Embry.
Funeral will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial in Slate Bank Cemetery. Visitation will be noon-9:00 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Shields Embry; three sons, David Haynes (Geraldine) of Roundhill, Johnny Embry (Tina) of McDaniels and Lonnie Embry (Wilma) of Scottsville; five daughters, Lisa Rone and Jeanetta Crandell (Leroy) both of Roundhill, Amy L. Phelps (Tim) and Genevieve McKinney (Randall) both of Morgantown and Sandra D. Lindsey (Rodney) of Sunfish; three brothers, Wendel Embry (Ann) of Beaver Dam and Loyd Embry (Frances) and Floyd Embry (Wilma) both of Bowling Green; two sisters, Juanita Lindsey and Lolita Burnett (Joe) both of Bowling Green; 20 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
