Linda Sue Southerland, 71 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Linda was born November 1, 1946, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Logan P. "L.P." and Bernice Moore Embry. She was retired from Butler County Head Start. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents Lihu and Cindrella Moore and one brother Darrell Hugh Embry.

Linda Sue Southerland is survived by two sons Lynn Ray Southerland and wife Nancetta and Jamie Logan Southerland; three grandchildren Justin Southerland and wife Abby, Wyatt and Raelynn Southerland and two great-grandchildren Kya Rhea and Keri Ann Southerland.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, May 27, 2018, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will be in the Flatwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am until funeral time at 2:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
