Linda Sue Phelps Hatcher, age 73, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on May 3, 1950, in Morgantown, Kentucky, to the late Emmons Phelps and Eulah Gusta Phelps. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Vanderbilt Hospital for most of her career and then she served as a Pastor in the Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmons and Eulah Phelps; and her brothers and sisters. Linda is survived by her husband, Jackie Hatcher; daughter, Estelle Cowie (Richard); and close circle of friends, Darlene, Rose, Susie, Tracy, Willard, Tathti, Sharmin, Leslie, and Linda. She was loved by many and will be missed by many. A memorial service for Linda Hatcher will be Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 11am until the service hour of 1pm.
