Linda Clark Lightfoot, 68, of Bowling Green entered into rest Monday, August 21, 2017 at her residence. Linda was born May 3, 1949 in Bowling Green, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles L. and Earline Christian Clark, and her son Roy David Lightfoot, Jr.  

Linda was a retired teacher from Butler County Middle School in Morgantown, KY. In her three decades of teaching she was a mentor and benefactor to many of her students. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, NawNaw, sister, teacher and friend.

Survivors include her husband Roy David Lightfoot, Sr. One daughter Casey Jo Kersey (Alan) of Leeds, AL, three sisters Brenda Forrester (William) and Cinda Arnold all of Bowling Green, Glenda Harris (Wayne) of Portland, TN. One brother Charlie Clark of Bowling Green and daughter-in-law Nicole Lightfoot of Bowling Green. Four long-awaited grandchildren, Roy David Lightfoot, III, Jordan Michelle Kersey, Juliana Rose Lightfoot, Eric Craylon Kersey and one grandchild due any DAY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm  and 9:00 am Friday until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery #2.
