Lillious (Phelps) Bryant

Lillious (Phelps) Bryant, 93, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, December 13th, 2015 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. 

She was born on Saturday, April 22nd, 1922 in Butler County, the daughter of the late Sam and Bessie (Embry) Phelps. Lillious was a member of the Christian Home Church of Christ and a house wife.   

Lillious is survived by her two daughters, Patsy Brown of Butler County and Elsie Sanders of Bowling Green; four sons, Douglas Mac Bryant (Faye), S.G. Bryant (Mary) both of Big Clifty, M.D. Bryant (Rennie) and Norman Bryant (Vera) both of Butler County; one daughter-in-law, Linda Crain of Caneyville; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Opal Burden of Louisville and Stella Mae of Morgantown. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William D. Bryant; one son, Andy Bryant; one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 16th at 11:00 am at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Kurt McClelland will be officiating. Burial will be in the Curtis-Woosley Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday after 4:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
