Letha Mae Bratcher Burden, 78 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday November 4, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Letha was born May 7, 1936 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late John and Myrtle Beasley Bratcher. She was a member of Zion Harmony Baptist Church and previously employed at Lakeview Health Care Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sons Kenny Wayne Burden, Kerry Gene Burden and Kenneth Dean Burden; one great grandson Trevor Hall; three brothers Johnny, Dorse and Dwight Bratcher and two sisters Irene Bratcher and Verlene Johnson.
Letha Mae Burden is survived by her husband of 63 years Kenneth E. Burden of Morgantown, Ky.; two daughters Kathy Perrin husband Andy of Morgantown, Ky. and Shelia White husband Kelvin of Morgantown, Ky.; daughter in law Debbie Maxwell of Baxter Tennessee; five sisters Viva Sermon, Emma Snodgrass, Sue Beasley, Pat Sermon and Vernice Mason; two brothers Dennie and Joe Bratcher; 12 grandchildren Jennifer Dilldine, James K. Perrin wife Becca, Kimberly Gantt husband Shane, Bryan Perrin wife Angie, Anthony Perrin wife Brittany, Wayne White wife Erin, Jason White wife Stephanie, Adam White wife Kendra, Desiree Meadows husband Joseph, Malinda Hall husband Josh, Joseph White wife Penny and Christopher Perrin wife Danielle; 22 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Zion Harmony Baptist Church Friday November 7, 2014 at 1:00pm with Bro. Don Davis officiating with burial in the Zion Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday November 6, 2014 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday Nov. 7, 2014 from 9:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Zion Harmony Baptist Church.
