Leslie Alvin Garner, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Hurstborne Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Leslie was born June 23, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Leslie and Ethel Louise Humphrey Garner. He is preceded in death by three sisters Opal Garner, Betty Shephard and Hazel Henderson.
Leslie Alvin Garner is survived by five brothers Donald Garner of Louisville, Ky., Roger Garner of Morgantown, Ky., James Garner of Louisville, Ky.,Charles Garner wife Edna of Centertown, Ky. and Lonnie Garner wife Janet of Morgantown, Ky.; four sisters Pam Costello of Morgantown, Ky., Bessie Mae Williams of Morgantown, Ky., Joyce Craig of Orlando, Florida and Rosie Marie Keown of Louisville, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday December 17, 2014 at 1:00pm with Bro. Paul Parks officiating. Burial will be in the Wade Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday December 17, 2014 from 9:30am until funeral time at 1:00pm.
