Leroy Evans, 88 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday April 8, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Leroy was born July 24, 1931 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Closter and Ollie Kessinger Evans. He was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and retired mechanic from the Butler County Schools' Bus Garage. Leroy loved spending time with his family, farming, fox hunting, his cattle, and horses. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Jerry Evans, two brothers Erdest and Troy Evans and two sisters Marietta Blacklock and Margie Evans.

Leroy Evans is survived by three children Donna Hardesty (Matt) of Morgantown, KY, Tim Evans of Morgantown, KY and Connie Neff of Ohio; five grandsons Shane Hatcher (Lana), Jeremy Evans (Stacey), Robert Evans (Heather), Brandon Brooks (Melissa), and Evan Hollowell; three granddaughters, Rebecca Ludlow, Ashlee Dockery (Keith) and Amber Phelps (John); special son Bobby Brooks; 19 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

For the health and safety of the families we serve we are staying in compliance by the directives set forth by the Governor of Kentucky and CDC recommendations. The Evans family has requested all services be private and under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
