Leo Webber
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo Webber announce his passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls on August 30 at the age of 92. Leo Webber was a member of The Salvation Army. He retired from Abitibi Price in 1992. Leo was a hardworking man who loved his family.
Leo was predeceased by his wife, Patricia; brothers Chester, Roland, Edward; sisters Lillian, Vicky and Hazel.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are son, Rick (Jill) of Peterview; daughters, Rhona Rideout of Harry’s Harbour, Rhonda Andrews (Brad) of St. John’s, Brenda England (Junior) of Harry’s Harbour and Debby of Kentucky.
Also leaving to mourn are sister, Pearl; grandchildren Robin, Jamie, Kyle, Janelle, Samantha, Abagail, Anna and Chase as well as extended family and friends.
Major Gerald Lacey will conduct the funeral service at Jackson’s Cove United Church on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Jackson’s Cove. Pallbearers are Junior, Kyle, Jamie, Rick, Rhona, Rhonda, Brenda and Jill.
When Leo needed special care, he relocated from Lanes Retirement Home in Botwood to Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor. The family would like to give their sincere appreciation and gratitude to both health care facilities. You have went above and beyond with the respect, kindness and compassion you have shown to Leo and family.
