Lennie Rone Drake, 94 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Hospice House of Southern Ky. in Bowling Green, Ky. Lennie was born on Friday December 23, 1921 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Buel and Louva Martin Rone and wife of the late Carlton E. Drake for 71 years. She was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel and retired in 1982 from the United States Postal Service where she served as post master for many years and was a member of the Retired Post Masters Assoc. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by four sisters, one twin sister and seven brothers.
Lennie Rone Drake is survived by 14 nieces and nephews; 30 great nieces and nephews; 31 great great nieces and nephews and 1 great great great niece.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday April 2, 2016 at 12:00pm. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Garden. Visitation will be held on Friday April 1, 2016 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
