Lelia 'Mae' Bobbett

Lelia 'Mae' Bobbett, 93, formerly of Bowling Green passed away at Morgantown Care and Rehab on October 10, 2016.

She was born on October 15, 1922 to the late David and Effie Fortner Bumpus in Butler County, Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by husband, Richard Bobbett; an infant son; four sisters; and two brothers. She was a homemaker and was very active in United Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Burris (Hoy) and Roberta Lawrence both of Orlando, Florida; son, Roger Bobbett (Doris) of Morgantown; sister, Margie; brother, Junior; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 2 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
