Lattie Marie Brooks, age 73 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at her residence. Born on Monday,  July 2, 1951, in Butler County, KY, she was a daughter to the late Bennett and Blanche Baker Brooks. 

Lattie grew up surrounded by the love of her family, including her three siblings Boyd Brooks, Lloyd Brooks, and Wilma Evans, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Hattie Cornelius (Clay Hatcher) of Morgantown, KY, and her twin brother, Lannie Brooks (Wanda) of Caneyville, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Lattie was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ and she worked several years at Kanes Manufacturing in Morgantown, KY. Lattie's interests were a reflection of her loving and faith-filled nature. She found great joy in listening to gospel music, reading the Bible, and watching movies, but above all, spending time with her family was her greatest pleasure.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel, Monday, January 27, 2025 at 1:00pm with Bro. Roger Worley officiating. Burial will be in the Christian Home Cemetery where her family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
