Larry Wayne West, age 71, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the his residence in Morgantown, KY. He was born in Louisville to the late Fletcher “Dude” Alston West & Velma Maire Payton West. Larry worked for more than 43 years hanging drywall. He loved watching UK basketball, horse racing & boxing. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, sister Carolyn Sue Burden and his brother Ronnie West.

Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years Roberta Brooks West. Sons; Mark Wayne West (Connie). Matthew James West (Jerica Stevens). Daughter; Amber Dawn West (Ryan Nash). Grandchildren; Destiny Brooks (Ty), Jericho West, Tessa Howard & Mattison West. Kaley, Dakota, Tobias & Ryker Stevens. Carter & Josie Nash. 1 great grandchild; Edwin Brooks. Siblings; Linda Carroll (David). Lawrence West. Kenny West (Sandy). Glen West (Teresa). David West (Joyce).
