Kenny Len Cardwell, 66, of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020 at his residence. He was born in the Welcome Community of Morgantown, Ky., on Oct. 2, 1954, to the late Ray and Lillian Whitaker Cardwell. He was the owner and operator of K&B Striping.  Kenny enjoyed talking with people (he never met a stranger) and UK sports.  He graduated from Butler County High School in 1972, was class president and star football player.  Preceding him were his beloved parents; sisters Charlotte Cardwell Hunt and Beverly Nykwest; brother Glendon Cardwell and infant brother Lincoln; his uncle and aunt Omer and Ruth Cardwell, his aunt Rhuie Flener and nephew Michael Hunt. 

He leaves behind those he loved dearly including his wife of 39 years, Kaye Bartley Cardwell; his loving son, Matthew Len Cardwell and his remaining brothers Ronnie (Norma), Allen (Joy Wyatt) and Dwight; special nieces Lisa Nicewinter, Laura Oliver, Jami Crivits Cardwell, Terry Cardwell, Tracy Casaceli, Becky Nykwest, Katie Nykwest, Kim Houser, Lindsey Davis; nephews Dr. Jeff Cardwell, Timmy Hunt, Ron Cardwell, Ryan Cardwell, Andrew Cardwell, Chris Cardwell and his sister in law Bonnie Cardwell; many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Nielson officiating.  Burial will follow in Hill Haven Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 23 from 9:30am until time of service.
