Kenneth Lee Daugherty, 77 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017, at his residence. Kenneth was born February 12, 1940, in Ohio County Kentucky to the late Jesse and Leona Morris Daugherty. He attended Barnett's Lick Baptist Church and was a retired local businessman.
Kenneth Lee Daugherty is survived by his wife Shirley Long Daugherty of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter Anita Daugherty of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons Keith Daugherty (Mona) of Morgantown, Ky. and Steve Daugherty (Astra) of Bowling Green, Ky.; 10 grandchildren Sheena Brown (Michael) of Bowling Green, Ky., Shera Lindsey (Steven) of Morgantown, Ky., Jackson Daugherty (Rachel) of Bowling Green, Ky., Clayton Daugherty (Sarah) of Morgantown, Ky., Alex Hudnall of Morgantown, Ky., Rebecca Felty (Seth) of Morgantown, Ky., Dylan Daugherty of Bowling Green, Ky., Selena Daugherty of Horse Cave, Ky, Madison and Kate Carby of Bowling Green, Ky.; 8 great grandchildren Breyden, Wyatt, Amelya, Delilah, Nora, Charli, Addilyn and Leona; 2017 brings 3 more precious great-grandchildren Maverick, Axton and Ky'Ree; four brothers Wilbur Daugherty (Carol) of Bowling Green, Ky., Paul Daugherty (Zona) of Morgantown, Ky., Jesse "Jay" Daugherty (Tammy) of Bowling Green, Ky. and Timothy "Buck" Daugherty (Pat) of Morgantown, Ky.; three sisters Reba Lear (Wayne) of Flint Springs, Ky., Carol Smith (Tony) of Flint Springs, Ky. and Pat Smith (Ray) of Eddyville, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 12:00 pm with Bro. Chad Bewley officiating. Burial will be in the New Liberty Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am until funeral time at 12:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
