Kenneth Dwayne Clark

Kenneth Dwayne Clark, age 44, of Brownsville, KY, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Nashville at Vanderbilt Hospital.

He was born on August 29, 1971 in Louisville, KY, the son of Kenny Clark and Terri Probus Gibson.

Dwayne was a member of Hillvue Heights Church in Bowling Green. Dwayne graduated from Western Kentucky University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 2001 and his MAE in 2008. He was a teacher for the Edmonson County School District for 15 years. Dwayne was a wonderful and loving son, husband, father, brother and teacher. Dwayne enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, golf, and basketball. Dwayne touched the lives of everyone he knew. His legacy will continue in his family and all of the young children he helped inspire throughout his career.

Dwayne is survived by his parents Terri Gibson (Bob Debiak) of Lewisport, KY and Kenny Clark of Leitchfield, KY. He also leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Vicki Hughes Clark, two daughters, Kayla Clark and her fiancé, Alex Shobe of Bowling Green, KY; Kelcy Clark and her fiancé , Chase Duvall of Brownsville; and a son Keaton Clark of Brownsville. He is also survived by two sisters, Lisa Miller (Gary McClure) (Kendrea--her daughter Isabella, Kourtney, Savannah) all from Leitchfield, Crissy Beavers (Brittany, Landon, Ashley, Dakota) of Elizabethtown, KY, a brother, Jonathan Beavers (Tori Reynolds) and his children (Hunter, Rylan, and Aiden) from Elizabethtown, Mother in law, Sue Hughes of Bowling Green and Father in law, Carroll Hughes also of Bowling Green. Several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his loving Grandmothers, Margaret Dermitt and Dorothy Clark; Grandfathers, Hardin Probus and Clinton Clark, his brother, Jeffery Beavers, and his Uncle Wayne Probus.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, (October 15, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Pastor Steve Ayers will be officiating. Place of rest will be the Hopewell Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
