Katie Mae "Jean" Ferrell, 87 of Huntsville, KY passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Jean was born March 25, 1932 in the Huntsville Community in Butler County to the union of Aubrey and Katie Elizabeth Hunt Peay. She was a faithful member of Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed helping others. Jean enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cooking. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one grandson Bradley Ferrell, son in law James Dukes, one sister Annie Wester and four brothers Albert, Elbert, Joe and Roscoe Peay.

Katie Mae "Jean" Ferrell is survived by her husband of 68 years Vinyard Ferrell of Huntsville, KY; one daughter Kim Dukes of Lewisburg, KY; two sons Sammie Ferrell of Huntsville, KY and Leo Ferrell of Hartford, KY; 4 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; one brother Tyler Peay and wife Doris of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1:30pm with Bro. Randy Davenport and Bro. Greg Fields officiating. Burial will be held in Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday December 27, 2019 from 8:00am until funeral time at 1:30pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
