Kathy Earls Bratcher, 58 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at her residence in Morgantown. Ms. Bratcher was born September 6, 1955 in Somerset, Ky. to the late Tommie Earls and Vera Derossett Earls. She managed a furniture store for a number of years, attended Grace Temple Church and loved to play and sing gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: husband George Bratcher of Morgantown, Ky. Daughter Melissa Phelps of Morgantown, Ky. 3 grandchildren: Hunter, Sierra and Christian Phelps of Morgantown, Ky. 1 brother Ronnie Earls of Taylorsville, Ky. 2 nephews Michael and Ernie Earls of Taylorsville, Ky. 3 great nephews Andrew, Jacob and Samuel Earls of Taylorsville, Ky. Close Friend Debbie Collins of Morgantown, Ky.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Brian Allen officiating . Burial will follow in Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 4:30 - 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
