Kathleen Romans, 90, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday May 9, 2020 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Kathleen was born February 24, 1930 in Butler County, Kentucky to the union of Alva L. and Stella Howard Dunn, and wife of the late Willard P. Romans. She was a member of Barnett’s Lick Missionary Baptist Church, Eastern Star and she retired from Kellwood Company. Kathleen enjoyed shopping and singing.  Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one son-David Romans; two brothers and two sisters.

Kathleen Romans is survived by two sons-Willard Paul "Teddy" Romans Jr. (Shirley) of Roundhill, KY; and Michael C. Romans (Sheena) of Morgantown, KY; three grandchildren-Kevin Romans of Texas, Cheryl Waddle of Logansport, KY and Michelle Young (Steve) of Brownsville, KY; 8 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

For the health and safety of the families we serve we are staying in compliance by the directives set forth by the Governor of Kentucky and CDC recommendations. The Romans family has requested a private graveside service and burial in the Isaiah Evans Cemetery with Bro. Derek Cain officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
