Kathleen Mae Evans, 78 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday December 12, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Kathleen was born June 16, 1937 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Carl and Louie Abner Evans. She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one son Jerry Lee Evans and two brothers Deloide and J C Evans.
Kathleen Mae Evans is survived by two daughters Donna Hardesty and husband Matt of Morgantown, Ky. and Jennifer Burden of Bowling Green, Ky.; one son Tim Evans of Morgantown, Ky.; one sister Irene Givens and husband Dotson of Morgantown, Ky.; one brother Deyoide Evans wife Novella of Quality, Ky.; six granddaughters Ashlee Brooks of Morgantown, Ky., Amber Phelps and husband John of Morgantown, Ky., Rebecca Lunlow and husband Italia of Louisville, Ky., Dana Mosely of Beaver Dam, Ky., Loren Ward and husband Randy of Morgantown, Ky. and Robyn Cox of Morgantown, Ky.; 8 grandsons Shane Hatcher and wife Lana of Morgantown, Ky., Brandon Brooks of Morgantown, Ky., Evan Hollowell of Morgantown, Ky., Jeremy Evans of Colorado, Robert Evans and wife Heather of Bowling Green, Ky., Derek Hardin and wife Jessice of Borden Indiana and Dillon Cox of Morgantown, Ky.; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Saturday December 19, 2015 at 1:00pm with Bro. Gene Garner officiating. Burial will be in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 19, 2015 from 11:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
