Karen Sanford, age 67 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Karen was born April 6, 1954 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Charles and Catherine Capps Litsey. She was part owner of S&S Cable and a member of the USBC. Karen enjoyed reading, bowling, spending time with her family, family get together's for the holidays especially Halloween. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Sanford and one sister Patricia Sanford.

Karen Sanford is survived by four children Alice Foster (Chris), Calvin Sanford Jr., April Sutton (David) and Charles Sanford (Angela); 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one sister Rose Honadle (Gary); three brother in laws Scott Sanford (Jenny), Bryan Sanford (Lisa Springer) and John Sanford; seven sister in laws Kathy Steel, Brenda Simmons (Terry), Debbie Alexander (Bill), Teresa Anosky (Tom Bergman), Vicki Goodman, Rose Adler (Don) and Mary McCarty (Jerry) and several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 4:00pm. A private burial will be held in the Sanford Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
