Judy Kathleene Thomason

 Judy Kathleene Thomason, age 71 of Nashville, died November 27 at TriStar Summit Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Batesville, Arkansas on December 5, 1953, the daughter of Richard and Linda Causby of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who preceded her in death.

Kathy was retired. She had been a radio personality at WLBQ radio in Morgantown, Kentucky and had served in the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW on the post and regional level. She was a book reviewer for the Amplifier in Bowling Green, Kentucky and the Butler County Post in Morgantown along with several online review sites. She was involved with the Butler County Child Abuse Prevention group. She was an avid crafter and reader, loved senior dogs and foster failed several of them.

Kathy is survived by her husband Don Thomason of Nashville; her sister Brenda Haskins of Mannford, Oklahoma; her son Samuel Causby of Overland Park, Kansas; her daughter Margarett Michelle Wilkens (Cody) of Turley, Oklahoma; special niece Teneya Birkenholz (Jeff) of Mannford, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen under the direction of Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home in Nashville. A celebration of life will be held January 3 at Dee’s Lounge, 102 E. Palestine Ave., Madison, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary in Mount Juliet, Tennessee or the Butler County Animal Shelter in Morgantown, Kentucky.
