Judith B. "Judy" Moore, age 82 of Morgantown, KY passed away Sunday the 26th day of February at her residence. Judy was born on Saturday the 19th day of October 1940 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Elmer Earl and Dora Thelma McCormick Burden. Judy was the wife of the late George Moore. She was preceded in death by the mother who raised her Oma Burden; one brother Jimmie Burden; nephew Timmy Burden and one niece Paula Miller. She was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and Kentucky Nurses Association. Judy retired after 32 years as RN at the Butler County Health Dept. and she served as secretary and treasurer for Salem Cemetery for several years. She was a avid reader and loved her dog Lady.

Judith B. "Judy" Moore is survived by one sister Sandy Carroll husband Danny of Morgantown, KY; one brother Ronnie Burden wife Joyce of Morgantown, KY; sister in law Reba Joyce Burden of Bowling Green, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 1:00pm. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Cemetery Fund 107 Hunt Lake Morgantown, KY 42261.
