Judith Atherton Forsythe

Forsythe, Judith Atherton “Mamaw” was born on January 30, 1940 in Nashville, TN. Judy went to be with her Lord on December 19, 2017. Judy is survived by her husband Bill ( formerly of Butler County) of 60 years, her son Mark (Louise), grandsons Justin (Deanna), Jarrod (Devon) and great-grandson Cameron. Judy was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Kay. Judy is survived by her brother Robert Atherton (Lucy) of Seattle, WA and much loved nieces and nephew.
Mamaw as she was affectionately called by so many of her “kids” will be greatly missed. She never met a stranger and everyone she met received Love, Smiles and usually a Snack. Judy loved the Jupiter Community and over the years volunteered as one of the first women EMT’s as well as Mrs. Glenn’s 3rd grade classroom at Jerry Thomas Elementary. Judy was the Executive Assistant at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center for over 25 years.
A Visitation will be held at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center Street, Jupiter on December 21st at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers: Foundation for Rural Communities, 17427 Jupiter Farms Road, Jupiter, FL 33478, a foundation in Nicaragua that has been special to the Forsythe family for many years, or Palm Beach School for Autism Non Profit Charter School 8480 Lantana Road,Lake Worth, FL 33467.
