Judith Anne Wood, 67, of Athens, Tn. passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Star Regional Hospital in Athens. She was born in Warren Co., Ky. on January 18, 1952 to the late Granville and Hazel Wood Haynes. Judith retired from her nursing career after 25 years. She was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church in Russellville and a member of the Eastern Star. Judith was a Louisville Cardinals basketball fan, she enjoyed crocheting, the Kentucky Derby, ice cream, John Deere, making cards, writing letters to friends and family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren to whom she was known as "Grammy". Judith was preceded in death by her parents and husband Royce Wood.

Judith is survived by two daughters Sarah Colburn (Jason) of Athens, Tn. and Susan Chandler (Christopher) of Silverhill, Al.; son Ryan Reak (Jennifer) of Fort Walton Beach, Fl.; grandchildren Lauren Colburn, Kerrigan Chandler, Quincy Chandler, Benjamin Colburn, Olsen Chandler and Kaylee Reak.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday, February 22, 2019 at Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Friday from 11am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Stamps officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
