Joyce L. White, 82 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday April 5, 2020 at her residence. Joyce was born December 5, 1937 in Butler County, KY to the late Reathel and Nellie Phelps Snodgrass and wife of the late Forest Mervin White Sr.. She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, she retired from Thomas Industries in Beaver Dam, KY and was a homemaker. Joyce was a loving caring person with a big heart, she enjoyed sewing, reading, flowers and spending time with family and friends and especially her grandchildren. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Forest M. White Jr.; one grandson Adam S. White and six brothers James, Dewayne, Billy, Eric, Harold and Oakley Snodgrass. 

Joyce L. White is survived by three children Beverly L. Williams of Morgantown, KY, Matthew T. White of Morgantown, KY and Caroline Richards and husband Carl of Morgantown, KY; eight grandchildren Tawnya Coy of Bowling Green, KY, Jeremy Flener of Cromwell, KY, Misty Spinks of Florida, Shawna White of Florida, Ashley Koch of Bowling Green, KY,  Korissa Perry of Morgantown, KY, Forrest M. White III of Morgantown, KY and Evan Webster of Roundhill, KY; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.   

For the health and safety of the families we serve we are staying in compliance by the directives set forth by the Governor of Kentucky and CDC recommendations. The White has requested that all visitation and funeral services be private at the Jones Funeral Chapel with a private burial at the New Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
