Joyce Ilene Porter, 88 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Chandler Park Assisted Living in Bowling Green, KY. Joyce was born May 29, 1930 in Butler County, KY to the late Willie Hershel and Glennie Thurlo Embry Flener. She attended Belmont General Baptist Church, enjoyed spending time with family, friends and watching UK Basketball. Joyce worked various jobs over the years including Kanes, Kellwood, Morgantown Feed Mill for the Ingram Family and retired as the Property Valuation Administrator after holding the elected office for 12 years. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her son Timmy Porter and brother Wendell Flener.

Joyce Ilene Porter is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Rollie C. "Bubby" Porter of Morgantown, KY; one sister Janet Embry and husband Pendleton of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 12:00pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 20, 2019 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
