Joyce E. Kessinger Deweese, 82 of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Bell Trace Health and Living Center in Bloomington, Indiana. Joyce was born August 2, 1931 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Hershel and Edyth Dockery Kessinger. She was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Cook Pharmaceutical. She was preceded in death by one nephew Michael Kessinger.
Joyce E. Kessinger Deweese is survived by 2 daughters; Phyllis Deweese of Bloomington, Indiana and Kimberly Brady and husband Gary of Winston Salem, NC; 1 son Dennis Deweese of Bloomington, Indiana; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Mildred Romans and Peggy Neighbors and husband Eddie of Morgantown, Ky.; 1 brother Charles Kessinger of Bloomington, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00pm with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Aberdeen Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 11:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church .
