Jonathan Michael “JohnBoy” Renfrow, 35, of Horse Branch, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Fordsville, Kentucky. He was born on December 22, 1987 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Pamela Lawhorn and the late Michael Ray Renfrow.

Aside from his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ralph Lawhorn; and two uncles, Mitchell Lawhorn and Freddie Neil Hicks.

He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his children, Brennen Renfrow of Beaver Dam, Zoey Renfrow of Beaver Dam, Keyarra Haynes of Morgantown, Autumn Brown of Centertown and Dakota Hudspeth of Hartford; his mother, Pamela Lawhorn of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two brothers, Ethan H. Renfrow of Evansville, Indiana and Zach Lawhorn of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two sisters, Drema Buckler of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Alexis Lawhorn of Olive Hill, Kentucky; paternal grandparents, JW and Mae Renfrow of Horse Branch; maternal grandmother, Doretta Webb of Olive Hill, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Salem Renfrow, Lucas Buckler, Lauren Buckler and Carson Buckler. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 22, 2023 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. John Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in Leach Cemetery in Horse Branch. Friends may visit with his family from 4-8 P.M. on Sunday and from 9 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
