Joline Sue Gipson, age 58 of San Antonio, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Joline was born on Sunday, August 23, 1964 in Bowling Green, KY to the union of the late Wilbur Gipson and Earline Miller Gipson. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Easter Seals and a graduate of Churchill Park School in Louisville, KY. Joline won multiple awards, metals and trophies competing in the Special Olympics, specializing in swimming and diving. She also enjoyed  cooking, dancing, music  and her family and friends. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Carl and Agnes Miller and one brother Paul Gipson. 

Joline Sue Gipson is survived by her siblings Sheila McCurdy (Alan) of South Elgin, IL, Sharon Morgan (Curtis) of San Antonio, TX, Tony Sharp (Debbie) of Jeffersonville, IN, Tommy Sharp (Cindy) of Fairfield Glade, TN, Robbin Fenton (Mike) of Louisville, KY,  Rubin Gipson, Gene Gipson, Janice Ray and Bobby Gipson; aunts Madgline "Auntie" Cannon, Sadie Cole and Frances Austin and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11:00am. Burial will be in the Threlkel Cemetery on Highway 70 East where Curtis Morgan, Mike Fenton, Keith Morgan, Adam and Alan McCurdy and Tony Sharp will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 6:00pm and Wednesday 10:00am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
