Joline McKinney Belcher

Joline McKinney Belcher, 84 of Owensboro, Kentucky, passes away on Monday, October 22, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab in Owensboro.  She was a Butler County native, born on August 4, 1928 to the late Charlie and Lizzie Pendley McKinney and wife of Paul Belcher who survives.  The Belchers were married on June 30, 1950.  She had worked as the lunchroom manager and retired from the Davis County School System with 30 plus years.  She was a member of Parrish Ave. Baptist Church, a 4-H leader and collected for the American Cancer Society.  She loved antiques, refinishing furniture and old linens.  She was preceded in death by sister, Catherine McKinney, brothers, Paul, Charles Doston, and William Desper McKinney.

Joline McKinney Belcher is survived by husband Paul Belcher of Owensboro, two daughters Paula Smith Perry of Owensboro, Donna Paulson and husband Lance of Calhoun, grandchildren, Mike Smith and wife Gina of Owensboro, Lisa Paulson of Auburn, Al., Lee Paulson of Calhoun, two great grandchildren, McKenzie Smith and Courtney Fogle both of Owensboro, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Funeral  service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Stewart officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 24th from 4:00 pm till 8:00pm at Smith funeral Home and Thursday from 10:00am until 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.smithfuneralhome1886.com.
