John W. Hoover, age 72 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on Monday, July 7, 1952, in Morgantown, Kentucky, John's journey through life was marked by his friendly demeanor, wisdom, and handy nature.

John was preceded in death by his loving parents, Richard W. and Exie Faye Beliles Hoover, and his sister, Patsy Peay. He is survived by his son, John Hoover Jr. of Morgantown, KY; his brothers, Vernon Hoover of Morgantown, KY, James Richard Hoover of Florida, and Joseph Hoover of Indiana; his sisters, Nell Ludvigson and Mary Louise Hoover, both of Indiana; and his numerous nieces and nephews.

John dedicated many years of service to Delta Faucet in Morgantown, KY, where he retired. Outside of work, John's interests were simple yet profound. He found joy in watching television, fishing and collecting of knives.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 1:00pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
