Joel Duke, 76 of Brooklyn, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Morgantown Care & Rehab in Morgantown, Kentucky. Joel was born March 30, 1944 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Aubrey T. and Lucy Daugherty Duke. He was a member of Christian Home Church of Christ and a United States Army Veteran. Joel was a retired construction contractor, owner and operator of Joel's Construction and Contracting and Duke's Barber Shop. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Genevieve "Jenny" Wilson and two brothers Jerlow and Earlow Duke. 

Joel Duke is survived by his wife of 52 years Imogene Abbott Duke of Brooklyn, KY; one son Jarrod Duke (Mary) of Bowling Green, KY; one daughter Joanna Castlen (Richard) of Brooklyn, KY; two grandsons Chance & Justin Castlen of Brooklyn, KY; two granddaughters Ella & Lucy Duke of Bowling Green, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2:00pm with Bro. Nick Greenman officiating. Burial will be held in the Isiah Evans Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 9:30am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
