JoAnn Bennett McLean, 77 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at the T J Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. JoAnn was born March 26, 1940, in Warren County Kentucky to the late Harry and Nora Cook Bennett and wife of the late Charles "Mac" McLean Jr. She was a member of Barnetts Lick Missionary Baptist Church and a retired CNA from Lakeview Nursing Home. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by seven children Mitchell Ray Vertrees, Monica Buckles, Victor Lynn, Chris McLean, Mark McLean, Bruce McLean and Monty Clemmons and one brother in-law George Conrad.

JoAnn Bennett McLean is survived by 11 children Diane Loving (David) of Radcliff, Ky., Ricky Vertrees of Minnesota, Cindy Wright (Dwayne) of Radcliff, Ky., Kevin Vertrees of Radcliff, Ky., Mark Anthony McLean (Rhonda) of Auburn, Ky., Doug McLean (Leigh Ann) of Morgantown, Ky., Daniel McLean (Lola) of Morgantown, Ky., Guy McLean of Rochester New York, Mike McLean of Everett, WA, Mary Ann Clemmons of FL and Sandy Chavrront FL.; two sisters Juanita Conrad of Missouri and Barbara Hawkins (John) of North Carolina; 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will be held in the Snodgrass Cemetery.
