Jessie Phelps McCoy, 77, of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Medical Center Commonwealth Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. She was born in Butler Co. on June 11, 1939 to the late William Ernest and Ethel Lee Ora Bell Bratcher Phelps. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting a lot of different items. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Exel McCoy, daughter Mary McCoy and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. McCoy is survived by her children: Peggy Martin (Ronald Dell) of Morgantown, James McCoy of Morgantown, Robert McCoy of Bowling Green, Ruth Ann McCoy of Bowling Green, Ora Jane Oldham (Michael) of Bossier City, LA., Angileta Jones (Jimmy) of Bowling Green; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brother Jr. "Red" Phelps of Morgantown; sister Helen Clem of Marion IN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating.
Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18 from 1:30-8 pm, Sunday 10 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
