Jesse Dale Elder, 62, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born in Lake County East Chicago In., on May 9, 1956. Dale was the son of the late Jesse Durwood Elder and Mary Cottrell Elder who survives . He attended Crossland Community Church in Morgantown and was very active in small groups. He was an Army Veteran, enjoyed his motorcycle and holiday family gatherings. He is preceded in death by his father Jesse Durwood Elder and infant brother Martin Thomas Elder II.
Dale is survived by his mother Mary Cottrell Elder of Morgantown, Ky; brother Richard Avery Elder of Morgantown, Ky. and many cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Franklin Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-8 pm and Saturday from 8 am until time of funeral service at Smith Funeral Home Morgantown, Ky.
