Jerry Wayne McKinney, 69 of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Jerry was born April 1, 1943, in Butler County to the late Andy C. and Beulah Sweazy McKinney. He was a salesman for Joe and NaDine Morris at Morris Motors at the Volkswagen Dealership, part owner of Lloyd McKinney Motors, owned and operated several car dealerships in the Bowling Green area and enjoyed buying and sellings properties. He was preceded in death by four brothers Chester E. "Pete" McKinney, Carlos Lee McKinney, Curtis H. McKinney, and Denzil "Goody" McKinney and one brother in- law Morris Drake. Jerry Wayne McKinney is survived by his wife of 46 years Helen Mather McKinney of Bowling Green, Ky.; 2 daughters Kelley Rae Hollingsworth and special friend Don Hollingsworth of Nashville, TN and Amy Louise Sanders and husband Lee of Bowling Green, Ky.; granddaughter Kehley Sloane Rucker of Nashville, TN and grandson Gavin Michael Rucker of Nashville, TN; grand dog Cali Grace Sanders; 2 sisters Coleen Jennings and husband Tommy of Owensboro, Ky., Louise Drake of Martinsville, Indiana; 2 brothers Ray McKinney and wife Shirley of Morgantown, Ky. and Sug McKinney and wife JoAnn of Bowling Green, Ky, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, August 10, 2012, at 2:00pm with Bro. Doug Riley officiating. Private entombment will be at a later day at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 9, 2012, from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
