Jerry Stewart Tarrance, 75 of Roundhill, Ky. passed away Monday, May 30, 2016, at his residence. Jerry was born on Wednesday, November 27, 1940, in Jefferson, Indiana to the late Raymond "Fish" and Dona Colburn Tarrance and husband of the late Vineeda Haynes Tarrance. He was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ in Reedyville, Ky. and he retired from the auto upholstery business. Jerry enjoyed classic cars, going to car shows and working on cars. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one son in law Jeff Whitaker, one brother Odell Tarrance, and three sisters Barabara "Bob" Ray, Yvonne Reynolds and Martha Veach.
Jerry Stewart Tarrance is survived by one son Terry Tarrance and wife Melissa of Roundhill, Ky.; two daughters Corkie Whitaker of Morgantown, Ky. and Cookie Wells and husband Steve of Morgantown, Ky.; two granddaughters Samantha Jane Hammers and husband Michael of Rochester, Ky. and Ashlee Scott and husband Travis of Franklin, Ky.; four grandsons Kyle Whitaker and wife Sherry of Morgantown, Ky., Cody Whitaker and wife Cortney of Horse Branch, Ky., Tyler Tarrance of Bowling Green, Ky. and Alex Wells of Morgantown, Ky.;8 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers Richard Tarrance and wife Denise of Jacksonville, FL. and Freddie Tarrance and wife Marilyn of Morgantown, Ky.; special friend Sharon Booth of Roundhill, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, June 2, 2016, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Danny Tarrance officiating.
Burial will be in the Milligan Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 8:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
