Jerry Lee Johnson, 71 of Brooklyn, Ky. passed away Saturday May 6, 2017 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.. Jerry was born September 19, 1945 in the Brooklyn Community of Butler County, Kentucky to the late Oval and Nelmo Cox Johnson. He was a member of Shepherds Chapel Church, VFW, NRA and a United States Vietnam Army Veteran.

Jerry Lee Johnson is survived by one sister Sandra Lynn Neighbors and husband Kenneth of Brooklyn, Ky.; one brother Billy Gene Johnson and wife Juileen of Brooklyn, Ky.; two nephews Timmy Gene Johnson and wife Janet of Brooklyn, Ky. and Jeff Johnson and wife Angela of Brooklyn, Ky.; one great niece Brittany Marie Cardwell and husband Calvin of Brooklyn, Ky.; one great nephew Brent Michael Johnson of Brooklyn, Ky.; one aunt Elsie Cox of Brooklyn, Ky. and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday May 9, 2017 at 12:00pm with Bro. Miles Tomes officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday May 8, 2017 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
