Jerry Baker, 76, of Rochester, Ky. passed away on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Nov. 8, 1943 to the late Thurman and Urith Smith Baker. He was a member of Rochester Baptist Church and was retired from Peabody Coal Co. Jerry loved to farm and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Michelle Baker.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years Vicky Gore Baker of Rochester; son Monte Baker and wife Tabatha of Rochester; grandchildren Jonathan Cardwell, Elizabeth and Madison Baker all of Rochester; great grandson Landon Cardwell of Morgantown; brother Jon Baker (Judy) of Evansville, IN; special cousin Richard Simmons (Linda) of Toccoa, GA.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 19, 2020 at 11am at the Rochester Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Rullman officiating. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 18 from 4pm-8pm and Monday from 8am until 10:30am.
