Jennifer Kay Whitaker, age 42 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Jennifer was born on Saturday, January 10, 1981 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Myron Tichenor and Sandra Cook Garner who survives. She was a branch manager for Peoples Ready, she loved life and people. Jennifer enjoyed painting, arts and crafts and loved spending time with her family.  Other than her father she is preceded in death by her grandparents Harold and Bessie Williams and Lucian and Kathyn Tichenor and one grandchild Xavier Hardin.

Jennifer Kay Whitaker is survived by her husband of two years Kyle Whitaker of Morgantown, KY; her mother Sandy Garner (John) of Morgantown, KY; four children Kayla Tichenor (Cody) of Morgantown, KY, Keaton Diaz (Samantha) of Boston, Hayden and Emma Grace Whitaker both of Morgantown, KY; two grandchildren Eli and Brittany Hardin of Morgantown, KY and one brother Russell Tichenor of Morgantown, KY.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 2:00pm with Bro. Jay Raymond officiating. Burial will be in the Wade Cemetery where Justin Williams, Keaton Diaz, Wyatt Dean, Isaac Flener, Sam Burns and Coty Hardin will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
