Jeffery Lynn Whitaker, 55 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday February 3, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Jeffery was born on Sunday July 24, 1960 in Ohio County Kentucky to James and Edith Daugherty Whitaker. He was a member of Oak Ridge General Baptist Church and former owner of Whitakers Pallet Co. until 2004. He was a devoted man of God, loved his family and a avid UK Wildcat fan.
Jeffery Lynn Whitaker is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Corkie Tarrance Whitaker of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons Kyle Whitaker wife Sherry of Morgantown, Ky. and Cody Whitaker wife Cortney of Horse Branch, Ky.; three grandsons Hayden Whitaker of Morgantown, Ky., Zach Peach fiancé Katelynn Hunt of Morgantown, Ky. and Layton Whitaker arrival June 2016; three granddaughters Emma Whitaker of Morgantown, Ky., Hannah Peach of Bowling Green, Ky. and Haley Peach of Morgantown, Ky.; one great grandchild Cohyn Peach of Morgantown, Ky.; parents James and Edith Whitaker of Morgantown, Ky.; one brother Barry Whitaker and wife Kathy of Morgantown, Ky.; one sister Beth Whitaker Wilson of Hartford, Ky. and several very special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church Saturday February 6, 2016 at 1:00pm with Bro. Jewel Martin Jr. and Bro. Joe Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday February 5, 2016 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church.
