Jean F. Hazelip, 81 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Jean was born March 6, 1935, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Garfield and Pernie Hunt Flener and wife of the late Harold Hazelip. She was a member of Fountain Baptist Church, a member of Eastern Star and retired maternity nurse. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son David Hazelip; one sister Norma Nevitt; two brothers Kinnith and John Flener and one nephew Mark Proctor.
Jean F. Hazelip is survived by one son Donnie Hazelip of Panama City, FL; two brothers Shirley Flener and wife Angie of Morgantown, Ky. and Jimmy Flener and wife Christina of Morgantown, Ky.; one sister in law Joyce Flener of Morgantown, Ky.; two cousins Barbara Riddle and Elizabeth Havens of Morgantown, Ky.; five nieces Beth White, Leigh Jolley, Kelly Flener, Shelia Hatcher, Linda McKinney and Tina Cardwell; five nephews Kenny and Keith Flener, Arlen and Josh Flener and Chad Flener; extended family Terry, Mary, John and Brandon Hightower of Sneads, FL and special friend Margaret Tabor of Bowling Green, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 12:00 pm with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, Ky. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Wednesday 8:00 am until funeral time at 12:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
