Jason Todd Smith, Age 45, Passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 in Morgantown, Ky. Jason was born Wednesday, October 13, 1976 in Panorama City, CA to Lawrence T. and Barbara A. Sullivan Smith who survive. Jason was employed by Kroger Industries and a member of First Baptist of Mt. Healthy. He was an Optician for many years. Jason graduated from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in 2002 and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008 with a Masters of Divinity. He enjoyed spending time with his children and loved playing and watching basketball, grilling, music and shooting pool. 

Jason is survived by his wife of 19 years, Rebecca Smith of Provo, Ky, one daughter, Ciara D. Smith of Provo, Ky, one son, Isaac D. Smith of Provo, Ky, his parents Lawrence and Barbara Smith of Lexington, Ky, one brother, Doug Smith O'Mara (Shannon) of Lexington, Ky, Niece Amina and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Burns Officiating. Burial will be in the Monticello Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11:00 AM until funeral time at 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Library, 116 Ohio Street, Morgantown, Ky, 42261 and the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police, 6204 Price Lane, Louisville, Ky, 40229.
