Janice Fay Fields, 68 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday November 28, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Janice was born February 9, 1947 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Otis and Geneva Cardwell Cox and wife of the late Donald Ray Fields. She was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and also attended Cavehill Holiness Church, a homemaker and a babysitter for many years. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one sister and brother in law Francis and Winzel Henderson.
Janice Fay Fields is survived by one daughter Bonnie Sue Fields of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons Bobby Fields wife Michelle of Louisville, Ky. and Michael Fields of Bowling Green, Ky.; four granddaughters Amber Fields fiancée Erin of Louisville, Ky., Rachel Lucas of Louisville, Ky., Kaley Lucas of Louisville, Ky. and Rebecca Lucas of Louisville, Ky.; one grandson Darian Fields fiancée Mariah of Bloomfield, Ky.; three great grandchildren Jayden and Aubrey Trask of Louisville, Ky. and Hannah Fields of Bloomfield, Ky.; one brother Otis Wayne Cox of Morgantown, Ky.; one sister Katherine Sue Cardwell husband Dalton of Cromwell, Ky.; several nieces and nephews and several children that she was a caregiver to.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 1:00pm with Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Fields Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2015 from 1:00pm - 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
