Janice C. Adkins, age 78 of Morgantown, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Janice was born on Saturday, June 10, 1944 to the union of the late C.B. and Palstine Daugherty Henderson. She was a member of Barnett's Lick Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Janice enjoyed scrap booking, drawing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers WC, Winzel and Glen Henderson and two sisters Costella Webster and Carolyn Amos.

Janice C. Adkins is survived by her husband of 55 years James Elton Adkins of Morgantown, KY; two sons Eric Adkins (Tammie) and Dirk Adkins (Leslie) all of Morgantown, KY; two granddaughters Haley Adkins of Cincinnati, Ohio and Laney Adkins of Morgantown, KY; two grandsons Wyatt and Ayden Adkins both of Morgantown, KY; three step grandchidlren Kayley McMullan (Jordan), Sean and Chris Sebastian all of Morgantown, KY; four brothers Billy Henderson (Reda), Roger Henderson (Beverly), Reggie Henderson (Judy) and Stevie Henderson (Brenda) all of Morgantown, KY; one sister Brenda Smith (Danny) of Roundhill, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 1:00pm with Bro. Joseph Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Isiah Evans Cemetery where family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
