Jane L. Casey, Sevierville, TN, passed peacefully at her residence in Brookdale Assisted Living, at 9:30 am, on Thursday, January 4th, 2018. She was born on June 28th, 1929, in Chandler, IN. She was married to her sweetheart Hayward for 50 years, until she was preceded in death by him on October 22nd, 2003.

She is survived by her children: daughter Susan Brewer, son Steve Casey, and daughter-in-law Donna Casey. Her grandchildren: Montana Casey (Tara Casey), Samantha Houtchens, Madison Casey, Amanda Brewer, Elijah Casey, and Chynna Casey. Her great-grandchildren: Jacob Moore, Caleb Moore, Gabriel Brewer, Cooper Casey and Wyatt Casey, (And soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Lilian Casey).

Jane was a woman who adored her God, her family, her friends, and her community. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and the best hugger. She would never hesitate to tell you exactly what she thought or to offer a hand to help when she saw a need. She loved reading her Bible and could quote almost any verse word for word. She was also a lover of music and singing, a love she passed down to her children and grandchildren. We take peace and comfort in knowing that she is now with the love of her life, singing the old hymns they both loved, in the kingdom, she longed for so long.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, January 7, 2017, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Mark Payton officiating.  Burial will be in the Isaiah Evans Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2017, from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
