James Wilbur Martin, age 83 of Morgantown, KY, passed away at his residence in Morgantown, KY, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on Friday, February 27, 1942, in the same community he would call home for his entire life, James's journey was one marked by dedication, love, and the joy of simple pleasures.

James was a retired carpenter, a trade he honed with precision and artistry over the years. Beyond his professional life, James was a man of many interests. He loved woodworking, a hobby that allowed him to express his creativity and love for working with his hands. Antique cars were another of his passions, sightseeing was a favorite pastime, as he enjoyed exploring the beauty of the natural world and the varied landscapes of his beloved Kentucky and drinking coffee.

All services are private and under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel. A private burial will be in the Martin Cemetery.
